The Spice Girls have announced a new EP and previously unreleased song 'Feed Your Love' to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of their debut single 'Wannabe'.

The last time the band - comprised of Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel B, and Melanie C - released new music was on their 2007 Greatest Hits package.

All-new limited edition EP Wannabe25 will be available to stream from 9 July and physically on 23 July via UMC/EMI. It will also contain a previously unreleased demo of 'Wannabe'.

"The Spice Girls belong to everyone"

In a statement, the five-piece said: “The Spice Girls belong to everyone and that’s why we want to mark 25 years of ‘Wannabe’ by celebrating our incredible fans”.

The new EP will include the original single, a remix by Junior Vasquez (originally a bonus track on the 1996 '2 Become 1' CD single), the original demo recording, and the ballad 'Feed Your Love', written by the Spice Girls and 'Wannabe' co-writers Richard 'Biff' Stannard and Matt Rowe.

Wannabe25 follows Victoria reuniting with her bandmates - after sitting out their 2019 UK tour - to launch a new Pride collaboration to benefit the Albert Kennedy Trust.

'Wannabe’ topped the charts in 37 countries and was followed by Spice Girls' debut album Spice, which went on to sell more than 31 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album of all time by a female group.

The girls have gone on to sell more than 90 million records around the globe, releasing three studio albums and 11 singles.
