Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, are the faces of French-Swedish sportswear brand Ron Dorff's new DAD-PAPA collection.

The 20-piece exclusive Fall capsule collection is a widening of the brand’s classic DAD prints with the introduction of PAPA prints that will debut Wednesday (21 September).

The 49-year-old Tony-winning actor, who has two children with Burtka, is known for his sharp suits and charming showmanship but this capsule collection opens the doors into his home life and his personal identification with fatherhood.

Amongst the extended range of items are cashmere sweatshirts, Nordic wool sweaters, and organic cotton t-shirts all branded with the bold, recognisable 'DAD' or 'PAPA' branding.

The monikers stem from the terms used by Harris' family as the actor details.

“I had seen the Ron Dorff DAD T-shirts and I thought they were great for David because he goes by Dad,” Patrick Harris shared for the collection’s launch.

“I go by Papa so when I started talking with Claus about what we could do together, I thought about Dad and Papa as two variations so fathers have both options depending on how they’re known.”

The collection's campaign was shot in New York City this summer and the new limited edition prints are modelled by Harris and his family.

The capsule also includes youth pieces for the first time, the family theme continues with 'BRO' and 'SIS' matching t-shirts.

When he's not taking strides in the world of fashion, Harris is keeping busy in the acting world.

He was recently seen in Netflix's Uncoupled as the newly-single 40-something, Michael. He is set to play a new villain in the upcoming 60th anniversary series of Doctor Who

In a recent interview, the actor teased: "I was just in London filming an episode special for Doctor Who where I play someone I'm not allowed to talk about. And I had to have a posh British accent... Or did I?"

In the forthcoming series, due to air in 2023, Harris is starring opposite Sex Education's Ncuti Gatwa as well as Heartstopper's Yasmin Finney who will be playing a trans character called Rose.

The Attitude September/October issue is out now.
