Our interest in the upcoming The Witcher series on Netflix has definitely peaked after seeing Henry Cavill take a bath in the new trailer.
Based on the best-selling series of books by Andrzej Sapkowski, the former Superman - *weep* - will star as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
And yesterday (October 31), Netflix dropped the first full trailer of the upcoming series and if you weren't interested in it before, you definitely will be now.
The rest of the cast includes the likes of Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra, Jodhi May, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, MyAnna Buring, Emma Appleton, Lars Mikkelsen, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte and Anna Shaffer.
All eight episodes of The Witcher will be available to stream from December 20.

Judging from the quality of the shots and fighting scenes - plus the beautifulness of Henry Cavill - this could be the perfect series to fill the gap of Game of Thrones.
