Calum Scott and Hayley Kiyoko have been announced as the first acts to be performing at a special concert to celebrate 50 years of Pride.
Proud and Loud: Celebrating 50 Years Of Pride will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 4 June and will raise money for Pride in London's Unity Fund.
Scott and Kiyoko will be two of the LGBT+ acts raising the roof as part of an incredible line-up.
"A great moment to celebrate our journey"
The concert will be a chance to look back at the last 50 years of progress, as well as look to the current and future challenges facing the LGBTQ community, including a full ban on 'conversion' therapy and the fight for trans rights.
Pride in London’s Executive Director Christopher Joell-Deshields says, "The LGBT+ community in the UK has come so far in the past 50 years, and this concert will be a great moment to celebrate our journey and where we are today."
He continues, "However, it is also a time to acknowledge the work still to be done and what the next 50 years will look like. We are so grateful to all of the artists, LGBT+ icons, and allies who will help make a night to remember."
Scott, the UK singer-songwriter who rose to fame with his incredible cover of Robyn’s 'Dancing On My Own' in 2015 and the trailblazing LA-based pop star, LGBTQ+ icon, and advocate, Hayley Kiyoko are set to be joined by other trailblazers and stars soon to be announced.
Celebrating the announcement on Instagram, Hayley said: "LONDON I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUUU"
